The 8200LG butterfly valve features a rugged ductile iron body with grooved ends (AWWA C606-14). The ductile iron disc is encapsulated in EPDM rubber which provides a double seal interface with the stem. EPDM O-Rings are used integrally on the stem to assure a leak-free performance. The lever handle is mounted with a positioning plate providing 10-degree or infinitely-variable positioning, with memory; valuable when throttling or balancing.
The 8200LG is bubble-tight at 300 psi and rated for dead-end service in all sizes 2" - 12": max test pressure to 450 psi.
