Description
Applications / Specifications:
Type D couplers are generally used with the same size Type A adapters, however, Type E and Type F adapters are compatible, as well as the Type DP (Dust Plug).
- Used to install a Female Cam Lock onto a Male Thread.
- Used to connect with a Male Adapter of the same size.
- What it connects to:
- The coupler portion will connect to a Male Adapter.
- The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread.
- Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel
- Installation:
- Thread the Female NPT portion of the pipe fitting onto a Male NPT Threaded end.
- Then slide the Stainless Type D Coupling over a Male Cam Fitting and close the two cam arms.
- For a quick disconnect, open the cam lever handles and remove the adapter.
Gaskets:
Stainless steel camlocks come standard with a Buna gasket. Additional gaskets materials can be found and purchased here.
