Description
Applications / Specifications:
Type E adapters are generally used with the same size Type C couplers. Type B and Type D couplers are compatible, as well as the Type DC (Dust Cap).
- The Stainless Steel Type E Male Adapter is a Male Cam and Groove x Hose Shank.
- Used to connect with a Female Coupling of the same size.
- Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel
- Installation:
- Insert the Hose Shank portion of the fitting into a Hose End and fasten with a hose clamp or crimp collar.
- Then slide the Stainless Type E Adapter into a Female Cam Fitting and close the two cam arms.
- For a quick disconnect, open the cam lever handles and remove the adapter.
Gaskets:
Stainless steel camlocks come standard with a Buna gasket. Additional gaskets materials can be found and purchased here.
