A 150# A105N Flanged Gate Valve OS&Y BB Trim 8 Conv. Port API 602 is used for on/off flow isolation in industrial piping systems. Its primary function is to fully open or close the flow of fluids or gases, ensuring a tight shut-off with minimal pressure drop when open. It is not designed for throttling (flow regulation), as partial opening can cause erosion or damage to the gate and seats.

• Oil and Gas: Pipelines, refineries, and processing plants for isolating flow of crude oil, natural gas, or refined hydrocarbons.
• Petrochemical and Chemical Plants: Handling non-corrosive or mildly corrosive fluids like water, steam, or petroleum derivatives.

• Material (A105N): Normalized forged carbon steel offers durability, impact toughness, and resistance to moderate corrosion, suitable for general hydrocarbon or water/steam services.
• Full Port (Conv. Port): Full bore/port ensures unrestricted flow, minimizing turbulence and pressure loss in large pipelines.
